About Us
Salcey's years of experience in arboriculture identified traffic management (TM) as a growing issue in our daily operations. Historically, the arboricultural industry has been viewed as an isolated service and any traffic management implications given secondary thought. However, this has increased the potential for TM problems resulting from TM being booked 'blind' and consequently incorrect for the requirements of the site, or being held up on other sites delaying start times and increasing costs.
As a company, we identified TM as an area we could develop. By including this service in our portfolio we are able to help our clients achieve their goals quicker, more efficiently and with a significant cost saving being seen. In terms of risk management, by introducing TM in conjunction with the arboricultural service, TM is only out as long as necessary, and our operatives understand the requirements of the work two fold.
However, Salcey can also provide TM solutions as a service in their own right on all roads up to, and including, A roads to a maximum speed of 60 mph. We can operate various types of schemes from minor street works in city centres to lane closures and road diversions on minor roads, contra flow and narrow lane systems and event solutions.
All our staff undergo comprehensive training to ensure our services are delivered to our clients to a high standard, safely and professionally. Salcey has been built on reputation and you are assured a reliable TM service.

Training
Salcey operatives work to Chapter 8 codes of practice to meet traffic regulation and health and safety laws. Our Traffic Management crew are also qualified to the following level:
